Welcome to Payofy

Payofy lets your software take payments for the businesses that use it: restaurants, salons, gyms, shops, schools, and service businesses.

You integrate once with Payofy. Payofy handles the payment processing, records every transaction, and notifies your app when something happens.

How it fits together

1. Your app calls the Payofy API from your server, using your secret API key.
2. Payofy creates the payment, keeps the records, and talks to the card processor.
3. The business receives the money in its bank account.

Test mode and live mode

Every partner gets two kinds of API key:

Key prefix	Mode	Moves real money?
pfy_test_	Test	No. Use it while building.
pfy_live_	Live	Yes

Keep your keys on your server. Never put them in a website, a mobile app, or a public code repository.
